The filmmakers flee NYC at the end of 1999, fearing that a terrible disaster will befall America at the turn of the Millennium. When nothing happens on Y2K they renounce survivalism and fear, only to witness the events of 9-11 as they occurred a few blocks from their home. When their world is turned upside down, they struggle to find peace in a nation that is obsessed with it's own destruction.
